  Why can't the WTS handle the truth on why people really leave the organization?

  what do you think are the reasons why the wts can't handle the truth on why members quit?

  why must they disfellowship everyone who would say something like this to an elder on why he/she no longer wishes to be a member......................................................................................................... '' i do not want to be a member any longer because of the changing ''generation'' teaching,the wts is just a publishing and real estate corporation,the preaching work is just a means to distribute books and magazines,the baptism and disfellowshipping of teenagers is wrong,the meetings are boring,the meetings are repetative, the 144,000 is symbolic not literal ...etc.....etc.....

  It's a mind set thing. They are captives of an illusionary concept. That they are "The Faithful Slave" of Matthew 24:45-47.

  That they passed the test of examination by Jesus 1919 and were appointed by him at that time.

  So, when people who have checked this historic 1919 time frame and this doctrine which all others rest, and fine that it is not true, then leave, the WTS. cannot accept their reasons for leaving.

  If they did accept the reason about 1919, down would come the whole WTS. structure.

  Something the CO said at the CA last week...

  ... that i just remembered.

  it has been brought up in one of the many enlightening posts here, but i wanted to just share what he said.. the co was speaking about how the org growth has somewhat tapered off and not seeing the large increases as before (too bad we don't have a talk about how many that have left!

  ) and that the org is now 7+mil active members (yes, he said active specifically).

  The CO. is no different then you or I. He must toe the line, he is given direction from the DO. who is given direction from the Zone Overseer, who is given direction from the Branch, who is given direction from Legal, writing, then rubber stamped by who knows in the GB.

  on a hot afternoon visiting in coleman texas, a family is comfortably playing checkers on a porch, until the father-in-law suggests that they.

  take a trip to abiline (53 miles away) for dinner.

  the wife says, "sounds like a great idea.

  1. i think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.

  Terry, Great list. #1 Clear history drive and then you need to actually clear the hard drive also. It takes a forensic computer expert to do this. Clearing the history drive does not clear out the hard drive where all your do not watch stuff lies deep inside the drive.

  HOW the Watchtower holds its members

  during the great depression in the 1930's people lost their jobs, banks closed and long lines formed in the streets called "bread lines".. you had to stand in line all day to get a free loaf of bread to feed your family!.

  in a cabin in the appalachian mountains there was a family of four.

  two children (a boy and a girl), a mom and a dad who had lost his job.

  We all want the real fruit not the wax kind. At first the wax kind looks like the real fruit. And this can go on for decades, as it has and continues for many in the grip of the wax fruit.

  Now, lets get to the real fruit, there isn't any real fruit that any religion has in it's domain. They are all doing the same thing, offering eternal life ( the so-called real fruit ) to it's believers.

  All of us want to have what God??? is offering us ever since the myth of the garden of eden fairy tale written in a book that should be in the fiction section of all libraries.

  However, not to shatter believers, I could be wrong.
